Our established general contracting client is seeking to add another Intermediate/Senior Estimator to their team of five. Estimating a variety of commercial and light industrial projects with a direct contribution to cost management and budgeting for various high-level projects.

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for gathering all data required for preparing lump sum, unit rate and cost-plus detailed estimates along with conceptual estimating, cost analysis and estimate coordination. Reviewing and developing discipline and multi-discipline materials takeoffs (MTO). Along with preparing instructions to bidders, bid form and other bid solicitation information. Liaising with Business Development function to ensure they are apprised of the high-level details regarding the estimate.

For a successful application, you must have experience in cost estimating for commercial and light industrial projects.Formal education in construction (Diploma/Certificate) is essential; an engineering, Quantity Surveying or accounting related degree and/or relevant experience would be an asset.
