Production Manager

Our client is an established manufacturing business located in the Fraser Valley in British Columbia. They have kept busy during COVID19, as they are an essential service, having provided key materials, packaging and containers. They were able to adapt quickly to the new WorkSafeBC guidelines and continue to focus on the growth of their business and teams within the plant.
As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for ongoing the health and safety of all production plant personnel, plant organization and safety of all equipment.
Some of the responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Establishing & maintaining injection processing standards for all products.

Effectiveness of manufacturing processes and controls in the Molding & Value-add departments.

Production efficiency requirements, quality standards & following ISO 9001:2015 quality procedures.

Support, training and motivate team to ensure department targets and growing production needs are met in their customer driven environment.
For a successful application, you must have experience and knowledge in injection molding processing & materials and have proven experience in troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
Scientific Molding certification ispreferred and Plastics Engineering Technology certification would be an asset). As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for a number of individuals and therefore, strong communication skills and organizational skills are key to the success of this position.
